报告题目:Regulating Electrolyte Solvation Structure for Nonflammable High-Energy Batteries

摘要:

Li-ion batteries are the critical enabling technology for the portable devices, electric vehicles (EV), and renewable energy. However, the safety of current batteries still needs to be improved to satisfy these requirements. The safety concern mainly comes from the flammable organic electrolytes. Alternatively, aqueous electrolyte and solid electrolyte are attracting intensive attention due to their intrinsic non-flammability. In this talk, my previous works on the regulating the electrolyte structure will be introduced. I systematically investigated the relationship between the electrolyte solvation structure and the electrochemical stability window of the electrolytes, interface/interphase stability, as well as the cell reversibility. Several methods that could tuning the solvation cages, both liquid and solid, will be demonstrated. The critical issues limiting these safe electrolytes will be discussed. 


王飞  博士目前在麻省理工学院Yet-Ming Chiang教授(美国工程院院士、著名电池专家、知名电池公司A12324M Technology创始人)课题组从事博士后研究工作,研究方向为反钙钛矿结构固态电解质体系的基础研究与开发。王飞博士2015年在复旦大学化学系获博士学位(导师:夏永姚教授)。博士毕业之后,在马里兰大学王春生(Chunsheng Wang)教授课题组从事高安全性新型二次电池电解质体系的设计、开发以及相关基础理论研究。在国际知名期刊上发表SCI论文共计46篇(IF >10, 32篇,8ESI高引用文章),其中第一作者身份文章15篇(独立第一作者10篇),包括Nature Materials (IF=33.887)Energy Environ. Sci. (IF=32.25, 2)J. Am. Chem. Soc.IF=14.695)、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.IF=12.257, 2篇)Adv. Energy Mater.IF=24.884, 2篇)、JouleACS Central Science(IF=12.837)J. Mater.Chem.A (IF=10.733)等知名材料、化学与能源领域顶级期刊杂志。
