Research Engineer-Inorganic Materials
研发工程师-无机材料类
Objective of the Position / 岗位目标
Develop new materials on thorough understanding of the key materials fundamentals, formulation and performance for applications in different areas.
Research Engineers for grains & powders, ceramic, fractories, crystals etc
Principal Accountabilities / 主要职责
1. EHS
• Work cooperatively with EHS engineers and lab members;
• Understand EHS issues in plant. Accept necessary protection in during visit and manipulation in the plant
2. Support to plant
• Create strong relation with the plant management. Understand the process, products and application
• Identify issues to be solved and, with plant management, propose a clear improvement plan.
• Support the plant in daily QC issues, out of specification. Understand the important parameters of the process and make the link with final performances.
3. Support to R&D activities
• Project leader for new materials studies. Identify the needs of the market and come-up with ideas for new products generation
• Identify clear objectives for each new application and propose clear actions plan
• Create good relationship with overseas colleagues (other R&D locations)
• Organize technicians work to successfully perform the defined plan
• Be able to give technical presentations face to SG top management
4. Support to business
• Support sales team during costumer visit. Understand each costumer need and propose adapted product
• Provide technical presentations/explanation after characterization/simulation of different products to the costumer. Be able to differentiate one product from other with technical explanations
• Perform benchmarking analysis from competition. Provide detailed technical report
