    Luo Wenhua, doctor, researcher, doctoral supervisor. He graduated from applied chemistry of Central South University of technology in 1992, and has been working in the Institute of materials, Chinese Academy of engineering physics since the same year. In 1998 and 2008, he received master’s and doctor’s degrees in nuclear fuel cycle and materials. At present, he is the director of Institute of materials, Chinese Academy of Engineering Physics, director of Key Laboratory of surface physics and chemistry, director of China Nuclear Society, director of China Chemical Society, and director of actinide physics and chemistry branch of China Nuclear Society. Chief scientist of the key research and development program of the Ministry of science and technology of the people’s Republic of China “Research on tritium recovery and recycling technology from CFETR plasma ash gas”. He has been engaged in tritium chemistry, tritium technology and compatibility of nuclear materials for a long time. It has won more than 10 awards for scientific and technological progress at the ministerial and military levels, more than 10 national patents, and published more than 50 papers. He was the executive chairman of the 615th tritium science and Technology Conference of Xiangshan Scientific Conference.

    The academic report will introduce the general situation of tritium plant technology of ITER and the research progress of tritium recovery and recycling technology in plasma ash gas of China Fusion Engineering Experimental Reactor (CFETR), mainly including the chemical properties of tritium as a radioactive hydrogen isotope, and related technologies and equipment of hydrogen isotope purification, recovery, separation, storage, analysis and detection The research progress and existing problems of materials, as well as the further research plan for CFETR engineering.
