To cultivate students' creativities and hands-on ability, the Undergraduate Teaching Experiment Center of the School of Materials Science and Technology has been maintaining close cooperation with professional-related enterprises for many years and actively carries out off-campus practical activities.

On January 10, 2022, the undergraduate off-campus teaching internship base of the School of Materials Materials was listed at China Energy Construction Group Zhejiang Thermal Power Construction Co., Ltd. Professor Cheng Kui, Liu Fu and Lu Yangfan went to the Xiaoshan Base of Zhejiang Thermal Power Nondestructive Testing to attend the signing and unveiling ceremony .

The School of Materials and Thermal Power Non-destructive Testing Company have had many business and academic exchanges and cooperation. In July 2021, more than 70 undergraduate students from the 2019 class of Zhejiang School of Materials went to Zhejiang Thermal Power Non-destructive Testing Company for on-site training. Undergraduate enterprise internship training can further enhance students' perceptual understanding of the major in the actual work environment and consolidate the basic theoretical knowledge.
