Steve Granick 教授简介：
Professor Granick received his B.A. cum laude from Princeton University in 1978 and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1982. He joined the faculty of the University of Illinois in 1985 following postdoctoral research at the Collège de France with P.-G. de Gennes and at the University of Minnesota with Matthew Tirrell. His honors include: named as Founder Professor of Engineering, 1999; Vice-Chair, Division of Polymer Physics, American Physical Society, 2004-2005; Flory Fellowship Committee of the ACS, 1999-2000; Colloid Division Organizing Committee of the ACS, 1999-2000. He is also on the editorial board of Langmuir, J. Phys. Chem. J. Polym. Sci. and many other journals. He has been the organizer or plenary lecturer for several important meetings. His research interests are in the areas of polymers, complex fluids, and biomaterials, publishing hundreds of paper on Science, Nature, PNAS, Nano Lett, JACS, PRL, etc.
