Dr. Hoang 简介：Dr. Hoang is a principal research scientist at CSIRO (澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究院) Materials Science and Engineering. Dr Hoang has been working with CSIRO for over 20 years. His major expertise is in membrane materials and process; environmental catalysis; industrial process and wastewaters and industrial emission control. Dr Hoang has made significant contributions to number of strategic and commercial research projects with industry and has numerous publications to his credit.
报告简介：The challenge in conquering Australia’s water shortage problems lies in the development of efficient low energy processes to recover pure water from industrial, brackish and salt water resources. Desalination of saline waters including brackish water has been considered as one of the most promising techniques as it can be applied to nearly any situation or location where saline water exists. The Advanced Water Treatment Research project at CSIRO focuses on the development membrane and process for low energy separations in the production of clean water.The overall aim of the project is to develop hybrid nanoporous materials-based separation membranes and processes for desalination and water purification.
