报告摘要:
This presentation gives first a short overview of the research activities at IEMN (Institut d’Electronique, de Microélectronique et de Nanotechnologies, Lille, France) with a focus on the Phyics group. The second part of the presentation will be devoted to physical characterization (atomic scale analysis, surface reconstruction, electronic and optical properties) of nanowires grown by the chemical vapor deposition (CVD) technique or obtained by etching of bulk silicon. In order to increase solar cell performances, these nanostructures are associated with nanoparticles (Si-rich silicon oxide nanocristallites (SES) or CdSe ones just drop casted on p-n stuctures). Dramatic increase of photoconductivity current in the range 300-800 nm are discussed in terms of Förster and down-shifting effects.

At the moment, working on nanowires and nanoparticles for solar cell applications.
