于海东，美国哈佛大学化学系Whitesides组博士后。长春人。2002年毕业于北京大学化学系。2009年获新加坡国立大学博士学位。在新加坡材料研究与工程研究院继续工作后，于2012年到哈佛大学Whitesides组做博士后。他的主要兴趣是制备新型纳米材料、发展新型分析技术及探索它们在生物传感领域中的应用。他已发表在知名国际期刊，包括Chem. Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater. 等发表多篇学术论文。
Hai-Dong Yu received his bachelor in chemistry from Peking University and his Ph.D. in materials science and bioengineering from National University of Singapore. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at Harvard University and a research scientist at the Institute of Materials Research and Engineering in Singapore. His research interest lies in the area of low-cost diagnostics, self-assembly techniques, and bio-inspired nanofabrication and bio-sensing applications of inorganic nanomaterials. His research led to publications on high-profile journals including Chem. Soc. Rev., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Adv. Mater. etc.
