报告摘要：
As an energy carrier, effective hydrogen storage is a key for renewable energy based economy. A great effort has been made since 1970s. However, there is no single hydrogen storage technology that meets all requirements for fuel cell vehicles and other applications. The presenter will analyze the current state, challenges and future research direction of four hydrogen storage technologies (compressed hydrogen, liquid hydrogen, hydrogen absorbent and metal hydrides) based on the results of 5-year National Hydrogen Project funded by Department of Energy of United States and his own research. It is hoped that this presentation will raise peer’s interest and stimulate further discussion.
报告人简介：
敖鸣教授长期从事材料科学研究和工程应用，在金属热处理，储氢材料，电池材料，纳米材料，表面工程方面有深厚的造诣。他在莎凡娜河国家实验室 (Savannah River National Laboratory) 任资深科学家多年领导储能材料研究，目前任内华达大学兼职教授提供技术咨询。敖教授的电池和氢脆工作曾获美国航天局(NASA)，美国金属学会(ASM)嘉奖。他获有13项美国专利，发表第一作者论文50篇。出国前，敖先生曾任浙江大学副教授，主持国家七五科技攻关项目。曾任成都电力机械厂中央实验室主任。为中国技术进步和三线建设作有贡献。敖教授1968年毕业于大连工学院金属材料专业，1982年获浙江大学材料科学与工程硕士。
