The general area of research of Prof. Wang is using aberration corrected HRTEM techniques, high spatially resolved EDX and EELS spectroscopy, HAADF STEM and tomography for the structural characterization on nanocomposites, such as metastable mixed oxides and metals, nanoglass materials, nanowires, ultra-thin epitaxial films, nano carbon materials and supported nanocatalysts.
