The School of Materials Science and Engineering at Zhejiang University is happy to announce that there will be a Three Minute Presentation (3MP) competition open to all graduate students. Here follows the details and requirements.
Overall requirement:
Students are invited to make and submit a video that records the presentation to explain their research in no longer than 3 minutes. The content can either be the introduction to students’ academic papers and recent research achievement, or general knowledge regarding their research areas. Basically, the video is better to be prepared to be appropriate to a non-specialist audience. The presentation should be prepared in English.
Topic:
Any research topic related to Energy Materials will be eligible.
Participant:
All graduate students (including doctors and masters) at home and abroad
Deadline:
September 29th to October 10th, 2020
Prizes:
Two players — 1st Place Winners
Four players — 2nd Place Winners
Six players — 3rd Place Winners
Judging criteria:
Each video’s final score will be composed of two parts: scores by experts (70%) + votes by audience (30%).
Submission:
Please fill in the application form attached and mail it to xiangtt@zju.edu.cn. The mail name should be “3MP Competition + your name”.
The video should be no longer than 3 minutes. The format accepted is flv/avi/mp4. It’s up to the participants whether the participants themselves appear in the video or not.
